Terms & Conditions – SC Plastering & Rendering

Welcome to SC Plastering & Rendering. These Terms & Conditions explain how we provide our services and what you can expect when working with us. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes & Estimates

  • All quotes are provided free of charge.

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

  • If the scope of work changes, we may need to update the quote.

2. Bookings & Deposits

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable, unless we cancel the job ourselves.

3. Payments

  • Payment terms will be agreed before work begins.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods.

4. Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • If work has not started, we will refund any payment made, minus the deposit.

  • If work has already started, refunds are not normally available (see our Refund Policy).

5. Our Work

  • We take care to deliver high-quality plastering and rendering.

  • We will protect your property as best we can during the job, but we recommend removing or covering valuable items before we begin.

  • Completion times are estimates and may change due to weather, site conditions, or unexpected issues.

6. Quality & Aftercare

  • If you are not satisfied with our work, please let us know within 7 days of completion.

  • We will review the issue and, if reasonable, arrange to put it right.

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or work carried out by others after we finish.

7. Liability

  • We have public liability insurance in place for your protection.

  • We are not responsible for delays or issues outside of our control (such as extreme weather, supply shortages, or access problems).

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Please make sure we have clear access to the work area.

  • If scaffolding or additional equipment is required, this will be discussed before work begins.

  • You are responsible for securing any permissions (e.g., from landlords or councils) before work starts.
